Warm up routine by Keith Dell,

Isiah Beazley and Jarrod Price contest at the
centre.
Despite finishing top of the
table at the end of the home and away fixtures, the Eagles went
down by three goals to the Bombers at Keith Dunne Oval in the
First Qualifying Final.
The Bombers led by four goals at the end of the first quarter
however a seven goal to one second quarter saw the Eagles lead
by four goals at half time. Unfortunately for the Eagles the
momentum moved back to the Bombers with the Eagles scoring only
two goals in the second half while the Bombers went on with it
scoring a further ten goals.
Scott Gillies kicked 4 goals for the Bombers while Shaun Stone
and Michael Blair each kicked 3 for the Eagles.
The Eagles will now line up in the Preliminary Final next
Saturday against the Bulldogs at the N E McClean Oval with the Bombers earning direct
entry to the grand final.
